    ​Asharqia Chamber lectures about food safety and workers

    Asharqia Chamber, represented by the Jubail Business Center, organized a lecture on Monday, March 29, 2021 AD, titled "Food Safety and Workers", presented by the Director-General of Services at the Municipal Affairs Agency of the Eastern Region Municipality, Dr. Khalifa bin Abdullah Al-Saad, and moderated by the Chairman of the Jubail Business Council in the Asharqia Chamber, Mubarak Bin Abdullah Al-Meshal.

    Al-Saad said that achieving food safety is by increasing consumers ’awareness and full familiarity with the correct cooling and milling procedures, pointing out that there are periodic campaigns to ensure the safety of food products in the market, as well as awareness campaigns based on introducing consumers and food workers to the best methods followed to preserve foodstuff and to achieve its safety.

    Al-Saad stressed the importance of preserving perishable foodstuffs in the refrigerator, because leaving it outside the refrigerator increases the number of bacteria and thus the possibility of infection, and that when defrosting frozen foods it must be in the refrigerator and not outside it, and in the case of defecating food in microwaves, it must Cooking food immediately after it is stewed in this way, advising the importance of bringing the food to a state of full ripeness and being careful when storing by following the correct storage rules.

    Al-Saad pointed out that productive families who work in the field of providing meals need review in the control process, and that there are projects to subject these families to one platform for food control.​​
